MU OET 2016 Entrance Exam

MU OET  is the entrance exam to be conducted by Manipal University for admission in the engineering professional degree courses for the academic session 2015-16. Manipal University is a deemed university located in Manipal, Karnataka. MU OET 2016 Exam will be held in online mode in April to May 2016.

MU OET 2016- Selection Criteria

Candidates will be selected for admission based on the All India Rank secured by the candidates in MU OET 2016 i.e. Manipal University Online Entrance Test. There are certain other parameters which are also considered for the selection of candidates -

• Number of seats available in the courses and colleges
• Option preferences exercised by candidates
• Final Merit List

MU OET 2016 Eligibility Criteria

Manipal University has laid down the eligibility criteria which have to be fulfilled by the candidates in order to take the Manipal UGET 2016 Exam. The eligibility criteria is specified here as-

• Candidates must have appeared and passed standard 12th or A Level or IB or American 12th grade or equivalent qualifying examination with a latest 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects mentioned here as - Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Biology.

Manipal UGET 2016 Application Form

Candidates will be required to register themselves and apply by filling submitting the Manipal UGET 2016 Application Form which will be made available for the candidates through online mode as well as offline mode, the details of which are described here as-

1. Manipal University 2016 Application Form - Online Application

Below mentioned is the procedure of online application-

• Log on to the official website of Manipal UGET 2016
• Duly fill in the details in Manipal UGET 2015 Application form
• Then, remit the prescribed application fee of Rs. 600/- plus exam fee of Rs.1000/- via Net Banking, Debit/ Credit Card, Demand Draft.

2. Manipal University 2016 Application Form - Offline Application

• Logon to the official website of Manipal UGET 2016 and print the Manipal UGET 2015 Application Form
• Fill in the details carefully in the application form and duly send the submitted Application Form and application fee of Rs. 1600/- by way of Demand Draft to the Manipal University office. The demand draft is to be drawn in favour of “Manipal University” payable at Udupi or Manipal

3. Mode of Application: In Person

• Candidates will also get the application form available at the designated branches of State Bank of India (SBI) and Syndicate Bank by making of application fee

4. Postal Method of Application:

You may also request to the Manipal University office to send you the Application form of Manipal UGET 2015 by post. For that, you will have to send a Demand Draft of Rs.1600/- along with the request letter and a self-addressed envelope at this address: Director, Admissions Manipal University, and Manipal – 576 104, email - admissions@manipal.edu.
